Al-Hilal are reportedly considering signing Raphinha from Barcelona to replace the injured Neymar Junior. SPORT cites reports from Saudi Arabia that Raphinha is at the top of Al-Hilal’s list as they deal with Neymar’s season-ending ACL injury. Al-Hilal attempted to sign Raphinha in the summer but he declined the offer, and has since struggled to make an impact at Barcelona. Neymar’s injury has led Al-Hilal to unregistered him and seek a new foreign player, with potential interest in Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho and Napoli’s Victor Osimhen. Tottenham Hotspur is also reportedly interested in signing Raphinha. Despite the speculation, Raphinha is content at Barcelona and has not pushed for a move. Neymar’s departure from Barcelona to PSG in 2017 was marred by injury issues, and it was reported that he joined PSG with an existing injury. The Parisians hoped that the injury would not worsen but unfortunately, it did. Neymar joined Al-Hilal in a €90 million deal in the summer.
