Goldberg, a former wrestler, took issue with fellow WCW talent Allan Funk’s flamboyant gimmick due to an incident involving glitter. Funk, also known as Kwee Wee, was warned by WCW management about the potential for homophobic chants from the crowd. After a match where Goldberg defeated Funk, the latter expressed his reluctance to complain about his opponent’s entrance, involving pyrotechnics and special effects. Goldberg, now a free agent after leaving WWE, has been the subject of backstage complaints.
