Serie A Powerhouses Enter Contention for 23-Year-Old Arsenal Defender in 2024

AC Milan has reportedly joined AS Roma in the pursuit of Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior. According to Tuttomercatoweb (via HITC), Milan has made contact with Kiwior’s agent regarding a potential move to the San Siro. The Polish center-back has not seen much game time since joining the Gunners from Spezia Calcio and could be set for a quick return to Serie A with Milan pursuing a deal. Meanwhile, Roma is also showing interest in light of Evan Ndicka’s likely absence in the new year due to the African Cup of Nations. Kiwior faces tough competition to break into Mikel Arteta’s first team, with the likes of William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes ahead of him in the pecking order.

Kai Havertz, who joined Arsenal from Chelsea in the summer, has also been in the spotlight. The German attacker has struggled to impress, managing just one goal and one assist in 19 games. Real Madrid is reportedly keeping tabs on his situation, but former Chelsea icon Michael Ballack believes it’s too early for Havertz to consider leaving Arsenal. Despite his lack of form, Havertz is advised to assert himself at the club before making any hasty decisions.
