CM Punk was mentioned by former WWE 24/7 Champion Peter Rosenberg on the Survivor Series Kickoff show. The event was happening at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois. Rosenberg called all the fans in attendance the best in the world, invoking Punk’s famous catchphrase. The fans responded with approval, and even former WWE World Champion Booker T acknowledged the incident. The fans then started chanting for CM Punk. Presenter Kayla Braxton assured everyone that they would be making history that night. There was speculation that Punk would make a return before the Premium Live Event as the fifth member of Team Cody Rhodes, but it turned out to be Randy Orton. If and when Punk does make a comeback, it will be interesting to see if he will be a babyface or a heel.
