Noel Gallagher criticizes Arsenal’s over-complicated summer transfer

Former Oasis frontman Noel Gallagher thinks Arsenal should have signed Declan Rice instead of Kai Havertz this summer. The Gunners signed Havertz from Chelsea for £65 million, but he has struggled to impress at the Emirates with just one goal in 12 Premier League appearances. On the other hand, Rice, who arrived from West Ham United, has been a standout player for Arsenal, scoring two goals and an assist in 12 league starts.

Gallagher criticized Arsenal’s transfer decisions and also expressed disapproval of the competition for the goalkeeper position between Aaron Ramsdale and David Raya. He referred to Ramsdale’s father speaking out about his son’s situation, calling it “absolutely insane.”

The Premier League is currently on hiatus during the international break, with Arsenal set to face Brentford on November 25.
