AEW President Tony Khan has announced that one of the world’s best wrestlers will be signing with the promotion at Full Gear. A major star will be at the Kia Forum on November 18 to sign with the company, as revealed by Khan just hours ahead of the go-home edition of Dynamite before Full Gear. Tony Khan expressed his enthusiasm for the new signing, stating that former NJPW star Kota Ibushi has joined the AEW roster. The mystery signee could be former WWE Superstar Mercedes Moné or NJPW icon Will Ospreay, but fans will have to wait until Full Gear to find out who it is.
Mercedes Moné, who has made a name for herself in NJPW since leaving WWE in May 2022, is speculated to potentially move to AEW. Khan has called her ‘one of the greatest wrestlers on the planet’ in an interview, adding to the intrigue of her potential move to AEW. It remains to be seen if Moné will indeed be the new signing at Full Gear.
