The three contestants for this round are Kristen Thomas-McGill, a graduate student & historian from Louisville, Kentucky, Finn Corrigan, a student & postal clerk from Vista, California, and Julia Markham Cameron, an attorney from Brooklyn, New York.
Jeopardy! has been a dominant force in the world of game show television since the early 1960s due to its offbeat format and engaging nature. Viewers can also participate from home by guessing the correct answer to the final question before the episode airs. The final question for the upcoming round is from the category “20th Century Novels” and the clue relates to Margaret Mitchell’s Gone With the Wind.
The Atlanta History Center describes the novel as “beloved & condemned almost from the moment of its publication” in 1936. Despite its popularity, the depictions of slavery and the American South are not accurate according to the Center. The contestants for the upcoming round will battle it out, and viewers can catch the action on Jeopardy!
