Drew McIntyre Issues Warning to WWE Superstar Making a Return: I’ll Drop His A**e

Drew McIntyre Returns with Villainous Persona on WWE RAW, Targets CM Punk

Drew McIntyre has returned to his villainous ways on the WWE RAW brand, and he has fired another warning shot at a returning top superstar. The Scottish Psychopath has expressed his disdain for CM Punk, who recently signed exclusively with the red brand, despite McIntyre advising RAW General Manager Adam Pearce against the idea. McIntyre has made it clear that he is not a fan of Punk, and a match between the two veterans is expected.

In an appearance on WWE’s The Bump, McIntyre continued to jab at the former AEW World Champion. When asked about how he plans to handle Punk now that they are on RAW together, McIntyre stated, “I’m aware it’s cool and [he] does numbers, that’s awesome for right now, but I’m going to wait and see right now because I can’t control who gets signed and who doesn’t get signed. I’ve got stories, I’m going to keep them to myself and in the future if we cross paths, I ain’t the same guy that I was in 2010… I’m a lot bigger, smarter, more experienced, and I’ll drop his a*s.”

In addition to his feud with Punk, McIntyre is set to face Seth Rollins in the main event of the Day 1 edition of RAW on January 2nd, with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the line. McIntyre also discussed his recent confrontations with Jey Uso, providing insight into his bad attitude and how it relates to Uso.

Since turning heel in mid-November, McIntyre has secured three TV singles victories, including one over Sami Zayn and two over Jey Uso. Despite his recent success, he will get another shot at the World Heavyweight Championship against Rollins on January 2nd.

The WWE Universe is buzzing with excitement over the potential feud between McIntyre and CM Punk. As the anticipation builds, fans are eager to see how this rivalry unfolds on RAW. Should McIntyre re-sign with WWE in early 2024, or leave to go to AEW? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
