The LA Golf Club welcomes Sahith Theegala as its second member, joining Collin Morikawa to form the flagship golf team in Los Angeles. Both players are part of Tiger Woods’ TGL, making them one of the very few to have signed onto an official team. Theegala hails from Orange, California, further solidifying his ties to the area and Alexis Ohanian’s LAGC. Club President Neal Hubman expressed his excitement about Theegala’s addition, while Theegala himself stated that he is honored and thrilled to be part of the team. The LA Golf Club has been able to add premier golfers with special ties to the community to their roster, giving them an advantage as the TGL league is set to debut on January 9, 2024. Both Theegala and Morikawa are excited to be part of a dynamic team that provides an incredible opportunity to represent their home town and grow the game locally. With the league’s debut on the horizon, teams like the LA Golf Club will continue to fill out their rosters as the date rapidly approaches. The club’s association with two premier golfers with special ties to the community is expected to make them a team to watch in the upcoming season.
