Lasiri and Prajanchai to Unify Strawweight Muay Thai Championship

Joseph Lasiri and Prajanchai PK Saenchai’s strawweight Muay Thai world title unification fight is set to take place at ONE Championship’s final show of the year on December 22. The anticipated rematch will be held at the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium as part of ONE Friday Fights 46.

Lasiri, also known as ‘The Hurricane’, initially struggled on the global stage of ONE Championship, facing five defeats in his first six fights. However, he bounced back with a remarkable performance against Rocky Ogden and a victory over Asahi Shinagawa, earning himself a shot at Prajanchai’s title.

In their previous encounter at ONE 157 in May last year, Lasiri put on an impressive display, forcing the Thai superstar to quit in the third round. This time, Lasiri aims to replicate his success and prove himself as the true divisional king.

On the other hand, Prajanchai, a 29-year-old athlete from PK Saenchai Muay Thai Gym, is looking for redemption after securing three consecutive victories on ONE Friday Fights cards this year. His goal is to end the year with a perfect 4-0 slate in front of his home crowd at ONE Friday Fights 46.

The entire event will be available for viewing on ONE Championship’s YouTube channel and the ONE Super App.
